Ok, here's the deal...It's late, Bud Light is feelin' frisky. The Uncertain Stoveman will award a set of Triple Chambers Pots to the person who guesses closest, without going over, to the highest bid on the Red Chambers on ebay now. I know this could be the wrong thing to do, and Todd could kick me off, but life is too short not to have a little fun now and then. So...I think the bid will be $3610...Who's next?

Hey stoveman,
Saw your rock wool on E-bay!! I love e-bay!! I've gotten a lot of replacement parts for my Chambers and bunch of other "finds" from E-bay.
I'm going to think about what the freedom red Chambers will go for all day and get back. Currently it is $3051.00, reserve not met and we have 3 days to go!!! I think Tura is in the right price range.

ReAD AND WEEP!
I bought my RED 960C for $400.00 in Northern Indiana right outside of Chicago 2 years ago. It is in at least or better as of condition as the one listed on E Bay right now. The people who sold it to me told me that they had it listed in the Chicago Tribune for a year for $600.00 with no takers. It cost me another $400.00 to have my Nephew bring it out in a U Haul trailer to New England. I've spent another (about) $200.00 for accessories and cleaning supplies. Not bad HUH?
Also, I don't think the EPA has any say on red porcelain. You can get the option from restorers on the East coast, and Elmira stove works has repro red stoves and fridges. Maybe it's regional
I'm betting $5,855.00 on that red baby!
